castilla is a small hotel right in the heart of the city, close to the park square and many restaurants. the outstanding desk staff made my experience enjoyable. the hotel offers various recreational opportunities, which I appreciated during my stay.

I almost considered giving a positive review but just couldn’t, the breakfast was decent, yet the bread was disappointing. Plus, the air conditioning was so noisy it was impossible to relax. I woudl ve been thrilled with a complimentary gesture for all my troubles, but apparently that’s too much to expect here.

I stayed for 4 nights in a Triple Room while exploring the nearby attractions like the Catedral de San Jose de David and Parque Cervantes. The best part was the outstanding service from the desk staff and bellmen, who were very helpful during my arrival and departure. It's also great to have a grocery store just around the corner for any essentials. However, the shower had some drainage issues, and the air conditioning was pretty noisy, which made it hard to relax sometimes.
